About the event
Aug 16th- Take a break from the rush of the first few weeks & de-stress with a viewing of ‘Web of Make Believe’. Learn what happens when an online gamer makes a series of fraudulent 911 calls to lure SWAT to innocent people’s homes.
Sep 13th- Chill out with other criminology students with a viewing of another episode of ‘Web of Make Believe’, in which we take a deep dive into the world of white nationalists and hate speech.
Oct 11th- With exams fast approaching treat yourself to a much-needed break by taking the afternoon off and watching an episode of ‘Web of Make Believe’. Hear about the harrowing experiences of extortion and blackmail and its devastating impact on victims on their families.
